Advantages of CVS

The possibility of a source from multiple locations simultaneously edit is just one advantage of the CVS. The system automatically compensates from which elements of the code have been modified and will detect the conflict when multiple programmers on the same code fragment changes.

Another advantage is the possibility of a history for editing a file. Each check-in is documented and programmed by the user, so that the development of codes and can be seen using the entries can easily see who has made changes.

The possibility of recovery of past versions of a file is also a not negligible advantage. Even the direct comparison of two file versions and their changes in various issues can be helpful.
